Hello!

 

We are Ramona and Mark.  Our biggest dream is to become parents.  We have always felt in our hearts that there is a child who is meant to be a part of our family through the loving and courageous choice of his or her birth family.  We are excited and hopeful that we will become parents through adoption.

 

We were both born and raised in San Francisco.  We have known each other for most of our lives and even went to preschool together!  We have been together for 15 years, have shared a home for 9 and been married for three.  We are best friends and feel that one of the strengths in our relationship is that we are always open and honest with each other.  Our relationship provides us with a constant source of growth and strength.

 

We come from mixed ethnic backgrounds.  Mark is Sansei, or third-generation Japanese-American and Caucasian. Ramona is Mexican-Indian, Puerto Rican, and Caucasian.  We feel that we have a unique perspective on race, and look forward to celebrating a child’s similarities and differences.  We will work very hard to raise a child who is proud of our blended family, just as we were raised. He or she will also be raised with respect for his or her birth family.
